“Rise Together” entering the final round of Project of the Year Award
Congratulations to the Rise Together team as their project entered the final round of Project of the Year Award, hosted by the Civic Leadership Academy. The Project of the Year Award is an opportunity to highlight and award young students and civicilly engaged organizations from across the U.S.
This year, there are 50 projects submitted to the Project of the Year Award across the country and our “Rise Together” project was chosen by a panel of judges to be one of the 16 projects in the final round! The Rise Together team will have an opportunity to present their project to the National Showcase and Award Ceremony on Oct. 23! Register here to join the ceremony online and cheer for the Rise Together team！
The second part of the award is “People’s choice”. Over 40 projects are uploaded for people to vote for their favorite project. The project receiving the most votes will win the People’s Choice award and $1,000. Please use the link below to check out the amazing work done by the young leaders and vote for your favorite project! If you vote for “Rise Together” and help us win the $1000 award, the entire amount will be donated to ACAN Rise Together fund and we will be able to sponsor more underprivileged kids in our future event!

As a reminder, our vision is for every child, regardless of race, family, and economic background, to ‘rise together.’ We are doing this through sponsoring them to amazing outdoor adventures, engaging them in weekly “Fun Nights” and becoming friends to support each other. Everyone who participate in the past events will tell you that it is a life changing experience, for them and for us.
