I remember it clearly one year ago exactly: first it was the cancellation of SXSW after a 33-year continuous run, then the NBA season was suspended, and the WHO declared COVID19 a global pandemic, and then my son came home from UT Austin – and never went back.
In July 2020 ACAN announced its first Summer Youth Writing Contest (SYWC). It has finally come to a close. We received overwhelming responses. The many entries show amazing talents. It was very difficult to choose the winners. After much considerations we finally decided on a list of winners. Details please see SYWC Winners. Starting in February 2023, our group gather every other week on Sundays to offer teaching and companionship to the children. Our main focus will be to provide support, encouragement, and be a friendly brother/sister for them. Our objective for the year is to prepare the children to perform a song at the ACCF 2024…
