ACAN Receiving Grants From AllTogetherATX Fund

Byadmin【朱凯琳撰稿】SIW (Summer in Weishan) 夏令营已经有三年历史。在2016年和2017年的夏天各有2位和3位奥斯汀的学生来到云南省大理州巍山彝族回族自治县巍山一中进行为期二周的英语支教，在2017年她们除了支教巍山一中还走访了巍山的其他学校,包括小学，初中和职业高中，对巍山的教育情况有了全面的了解，建设小学和美丽班也就是在那时走进了她们的视野。2018年随着华盟的日益壮大和教育活动的不断开展，SIW的小蒋老师和她SIW 2017的队友小邱老师来到华盟教育工作组宣传这个夏令营，得到了华盟教育委员会的支持，成为华盟2018年的夏令营项目之一。小蒋老师通过华盟招募，与应聘者一一面试，最后确定了以9位高中生为主和2名中学生为助手的SIW2018, 并分为‘高中营’和‘小学营’。
