Byadmin[撰稿 明清] 谁也不相信会有天上掉陷饼的好事。可这事就真发生在了我们身边。今年九月，一家叫 CapCityKids 的慈善机构收到了其合作伙伴突如其来送上门的40大箱的背包和日常卫生用品捐赠品。由于东西太多又没有预知的需要者，机构领导一下子抓了瞎。这时，我们奥斯汀华盟理事赵采姣女士立即伸出了援助之手，承担起了这批捐赠物品的发放重任。

笔酣墨饱看书法-记 [2019奥斯汀中学生书法比赛]
Byadmin【撰稿： 明清 摄影： 华盟义工和学校教师】在奥斯汀华裔联盟2018年举办的奥斯汀地区中学中华文化推广的诸多项目中，[中国书法]项目纳新年之瑞气，结淳香之硕果，于元月十二日举办了别开生面的[2019奥斯汀中学生书法比赛]。 比赛场地设在Cedar Ridge 高中。周六早上九点到下午三点，十一所参与华盟文化推广学校中的八所学校(Glenn HS，LASA HS，Cedar Park HS，Cedar Ridge HS，Westwood HS，Dominic Savio Catholic HS，Round Rock，Vandegrift HS) 的八十位学生来到现场参加比赛。另外三所因当天其他活动冲突的学校(Westlake HS，Canyon Vista MS，Connally HS) 也交上了一百份在各自学校完成的比赛作品。其中，有的中学参赛阵容宠大，达八十人之多，而另一些学校参赛人员则相对较少。然而，每个参赛的学生都以极其认真的态度，挥毫完成了一帧帧刚劲有力的参赛作品。
