Since March of 2017, the Austin Chinese-American Network has been working together to better our community through the organization of cultural programs, annual events, volunteer service efforts, and educational classes. Under our mission of “Serving Our Community and Fostering Our Heritage”, we made it our goal to enrich our city with Chinese culture and endear it through charitable acts. With our goal in mind, we hope to embrace traditions and grow not only individually, but also together as a community.
Although there exist countless cultural-based organizations and non-profits, there are only a few that have formed an open and welcoming environment while simultaneously remained a tight-knit and dependable community. We are lucky enough to say that we are one of those few. At ACAN, we pride ourselves in our inclusiveness, collaboration, and philanthropy. From consistent volunteer work at local food banks, to educational guidance seminars for first-generation immigrant parents, to annual cultural festivals and events, ACAN does it all. Empowered by new faces and ideas, we welcome you to join our cause. Together, we can build a brighter future for our communities.
