This includes organizing and hosting cultural art events of our own, as well as supporting other members and organizations of our community and the events that they organize and host. Following ACAN\u2019s successful application for the Thrive Grant from the Economic Development Division of the City of Austin, ACAN is glad to initiate a mini-grant program for this purpose, funded by ACAN\u2019s Thrive Grant award.<\/p>\n<p><b>Program Details:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><u>Purpose<\/u><br>To support other Chinese culture\/art groups and individuals in organizing and staging culture\/art enrichment activities, including but not limited to, exhibits, concerts, recitals, workshops, seminars.<br><u><br><\/u><\/p>\n<p><u>Annual Funding Total<\/u><br><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual total – $10000<\/li>\n<li>Up to 20 grants, in the amount of $300 – $1000, until exhausted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u style=\"color: var(--global-palette4); font-family: var(--global-body-font-family);\">Supporting Process<\/u><br><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: var(--global-palette4); font-family: var(--global-body-font-family);\">Open for application starting Jan.1 (except 2023, which starts 5\/1), through Aug. 31, or when the fund is exhausted, whichever comes first. <\/span><span style=\"color: var(--global-palette4); font-family: var(--global-body-font-family);\"> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: var(--global-palette4); font-family: var(--global-body-font-family);\"> – Applicants to use the application form: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/yqruTAyrR21bxwTj7\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/yqruTAyrR21bxwTj7<\/a>.
